Always thought archery was cool? Maybe you watched Robin Hood one too many times? That's okay... We did too! So...get a "taste" of archery! This 1 1/2 hour class is a basic introduction to archery and gets you on the range to practice your shooting skills. Then head out for drinks and more fun! (If you are in the earlier session and want to switch to the 5PM session -- just let me know on the board or e-mail and I will move you if there is room.)
DATE/TIME: 1:00pm-2:30pm. (Make sure to be on time and give yourself plenty of time to get there!) Then head out for drinks and/or late lunch afterwards.
COST: $31.50 pp. First paid basis only via Amazon Payments!
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
• Private Class for our group
• Equipment
• Basic Instruction with 2-3 Instructors
• Instructors help each participant as he/she shoots
WHAT TO WEAR: Archers need tighter fitting T-shirts or similar tops. No baggy or frilly clothing on the upper body. No sweatshirts or heavy, loose sweaters. Avoid collars sitting higher on the neck (turtlenecks, etc.). Shoes should be comfortable. Long hair needs to be tied back.
DIRECTIONS:
From Washington and east/southeast: exit I-66 at US Route 29. Turn right at the light to head south. From west and southwest: exit I-66 at US Route 29. Partway down the long exit ramp, turn left to head south on US Route 29. Go about one and one-half miles. Turn left onto Bull Run Post Office Road. Go about half a mile. At the sharp turn that has the 10 mph sign, bear off right. After crossing over I-66, immediately turn left. This will lead you to the Shooting Center. The range is downstairs in the building.
AFTER DINNER PLANS: This is probably the best spot too meet afterwards. Ruby Tuesday I-66 E. Exit 52 onto Lee Highway, first right turn on Machen Rd. and then first left turn on Centreville Sq. and finally another left turn into the shopping center. 14241 Centreville Sq, Centreville, VA (703) 968-0186 *If you have any other ideas please post them up.
