The Power of Data Analytics to Transform Government

Details

Government agencies across the spectrum are sitting atop invaluable datasets that are locked up because of lack of resources, tools and compliance regimes.

Fortunately, cloud-based analytics capabilities are allowing these datasets to be turned into knowledge. Whether it’s data about the mission, citizen services or simply data from running large data centers, analytics can help these agencies visualize, analyze and optimize.

With this in mind, be sure to RSVP and join us for a jam-packed Meetup of industry-leading experts who will discuss:

• Microsoft Advancements in Big Data and Predictive Analytics for Government

Chandra Sekar (https://www.linkedin.com/in/chandra-sekar/), Technology Solutions Professional, Microsoft Azure Government (https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/overview/clouds/government/)

• Use Case: Applying Analytics to Emergency Preparedness, Response, and Recovery Missions

Bob Allen (https://www.linkedin.com/in/ballencbtech/), Owner, Chainbridge Technologies (http://www.chainbridgetech.com/)

FEMA spends tens of millions of dollars per year preparing its staff to support the delivery of billions of dollars in emergency response and recovery funds. In an era of a continually constrained budgets coupled with ever increasing disaster impacts, it is critical for FEMA to develop strategies that ensure tax payer dollars are spent efficiently with maximum benefit to disaster survivors and recovering communities. Hear how Azure Analytics is being used to apply private sector Value Chain analysis to help this complex challenge.

• Log Analytics for Better Operational Intelligence

Jason Fertig (https://www.linkedin.com/in/platespinner/), Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, AIS (https://www.appliedis.com/) (@PlateSpinner)
