Registration: The per person cost for the bus tour is $75.00 paid in-advance with proceeds supporting our Washington, DC History & Culture non-profit community programs - including our FREE Underground Railroad Walking Tours in DC/MD/VA. Similar Harriet Tubman bus tours are routinely advertised between $90.00 and $150.00 per person. The registration fee is fully refundable if our event is cancelled, or if you cancel your RSVP at least 72 hours prior to our departure. There is no admission fee to the sites we’ll be visiting, although you are welcome to make a donation to them. Guests are responsible for their own food purchases, incidentals, etc.

Weather: As the sites we’ll be visiting are mostly indoors the tour will take place rain or shine. If the weather is forecasted to include snow and/or ice then the tour will be rescheduled (full refund if you’re unable to make the reschedule date).

Meeting Point: 9:00 am sharp at the Largo Town Center Metro station rider entrance/exit. Look for your host Robert, holding an 11*17 Harriet Tubman photo, and a group of friendly people. Please be on time. If you were actually traveling with Harriet Tubman on the Underground Railroad would you be late??? Unfortunately, we’re not able to wait for late arrivals and no refunds if you miss our scheduled departure time. We strongly recommend arriving early as there are several businesses are close by to pass the time at.

Transportation: We will be traveling via a 15-person van (a Ford Transit or similar) but we will only allow 13 people to participate so that we have a little more room to spread out. Also, the driver, Robert, will determine who sits in the passenger seat. The remaining seating choices will be in the order of registration - i.e. the first to register gets the first seat choice, then the second person to register, etc.

Additional Questions: Anything that can’t be answered by the above event description, Google, or common sense please let us know.
