You should be a member if and ONLY if: You are a leader or an aspiring leader that believes in the practice of mindful leadership.

If you are trying to sell something or just make networking connection this group is not for you. If you do no not qualify to be a member please don't join or attend our events. We ask that you respect the intention of this community.

What makes us different? We are NOT a purely networking group. Our events are not just about swapping cards and small talk. Sure we meet people and make connects but we do so with authenticity and mindfulness.

What can I expect at an event? Our events inspire, educate and connect leaders that believe in mindful leadership. Its common to start our events with meditation and mindful sharing. Speakers come from diverse background and will provide mindful leadership training.

This event is a showcase of France and French culture. This is NOT a wine tasting event as such. However, it is all-you-can-drink French Wines Event (few selected French wines though). - We will meet and socialize with French professionals, business people and diplomates at the Event - Buffet Campagnard (Typical french style finger food buffet) prepared by Chef Mark Courseille of Le Café Descartes of the Embassy will be served. The buffet is a finger food buffet. It is not considered as dinner. - We will have an Open Bar featuring French wines & drinks. - The Event is a Stand Up Reception. However, if you need to be seated for medical reasons or if you need a handicap access, please let us know 24 hours before the Event, so that we can arrange. - The Event is not a dancing event. - Event is 21+. We organized this event, in collaboration with the Embassy and The French-American Chamber of Commerce (We are proudly a member). Dress Code : Reception/Cocktail Attire Payment Instructions : 1. We only refund the full amount, if the event is canceled. If it is rescheduled, we will send an email to those who purchased tickets advising that. A full refund will be given to those that let us know within 2 calendar days of the update email, if you are unable to make it on the new date. No refunds will be given after that time. However, you can sell your ticket to someone else if you are unable to attend. Please, feel free to post in the comment box for the event, that you have a ticket for sale. Work out payment between yourselves, and have the seller only send the organizer a message letting us know the full name and contact details of the person taking your spot. The reason behind this group is knowing each other, work together mindfully and spread the idea of mindful leadership. We have professional and social events. We organize seminars to educate and inform us, we network on Happy Hours, we dine out, we dance the night away and so on. We have to wonder around and get used to Metropolitan Washington DC. This time around, we will hold down Virginia, with our half-priced appetizers, glass of wine and rail drinks. This is a joint meetup with my other meetups. You will get an opportunity to hang out with many insanely awesome socialites.
