Announcing a new Meetup for The DC Metro Entrepreneur Meetup (DC Spotter)!

What: Is your value proposition truly unique?

When: October 6,[masked]:00 PM

Where:
Intelligent Office
1100 N. Glebe Road, Suite 1010
Arlington, VA 22201

The objective of this workshop is to give you maximum practical value, so you can leave in a better place than when you started.

I?ll briefly talk about the importance of developing a brand, particularly for start up businesses.

Secondly, I?ll aim to take the group through the process of developing a unique and focused value proposition. I?m sure many of you already have some kind of value proposition (maybe a 10 page document or just in your head?). I hope at the end of this session you?ll be able to at least refine what you have ? or perhaps rewrite the whole thing?

I?m inviting committed attendees to send me their value proposition in its present form (email me: [address removed]), and if it?s agreeable with everyone I?ll work through a real example for you all to see. Please email before the 2nd October. Your information will remain confidential.

Finally, to bring theory into practice, I?m delighted to have the founder of the ?Fojol brothers of Merlindia? also speaking to the group. Before you wonder who that is, please check out their website or Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/fojolbros. Also Google them to see their PR! You?ll quickly realize they are a truly unique brand. The founder will speak to the group about how he and his colleagues put this idea into practice ? a fantastic example of having a compelling story, and standing out of the crowd! They?ve generated incredible PR, and a sizeable Twitter following to date. Plenty of lessons for small business owners to take away! Peter will stay around to take your questions.

Don?t miss it.
