Background and its importance About the Mentor: Simi Jois, a Marketing and Branding professional by academics, found her calling in culinary photography. Simi has always been intrigued by light. Rays of sunlight streaming into a forest; the gentle embrace of light on a bowl sitting on a dark table, capture her eye. Raised in an art-emphasized home subconsciously trained her mind to engage creatively with color, texture, light, shadow and composition. Simi uses photographic images as her canvas and the lens as her brush. She did not have to look far for a subject - her passion for creating flavors provided her with infinite permutations of expression. Painting with ingredients, pairing exotic spices for mutual enhancement and richness of flavor, Simi narrates her stories through the play of light and bold strokes of color. Simi believes that her love for creating unique flavors deeply informs her passion for culinary optics. Her work has been featured on MSN ( food & drink), Fox News magazine, Better Homes, theKitchn and she is a frequent contributor on the Daily Meal. We are proud to have her as a Masterclass Mentor, Food Photography. Registration charges Rs 6500 per head inclusive of all taxes. What we're about

DCP Expeditions LLP today, is one of the fastest growing Wildlife Photography Training academies, with a strong team comprising of highly skilled and established photographers of the country and veterans in the field of digital photography. Having travelled through the same road, we understand the hurdles and challenges faced in taking this hobby to the next orbit. We, as a team, are putting our honest efforts to make photography learning available to the enthusiasts and amateurs at an affordable cost.

We are not another Travel Photography company. For every project we conduct, every workshop we do and in every expedition we lead, in addition to the development of photographic skill sets, conservation photography remains one of the key learning element. We help people to learn how to make better images and how to use photography as a tool to depict the untold and unseen beauties of nature. We work in association with environmentalists, conservation activists, naturalists, scientists and researchers in an attempt to impart knowledge and generate awareness amongst common man about the earth’s natural history.
