The 88th Academy Awards ceremony, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Academy_of_Motion_Picture_Arts_and_Sciences) (AMPAS), will honor the best films of 2015 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015_in_film) and is scheduled to take place on February 28, 2016, at the Dolby Theatre (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dolby_Theatre). During the ceremony, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will present Academy Awards (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Academy_Awards) (commonly referred to as Oscars) in 24 categories. Actor Chris Rock (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Rock) will host the show for the second time, having previously hosted the 77th ceremony (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/77th_Academy_Awards) held in 2005.[5] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/88th_Academy_Awards#cite_note-5)
This year's Oscar is controversial and Chris Rock might curse:). WILL BE FUN TO WATCH!
We will have the whole venue by ourselves, with a humongous projection screen and several TVs.

It is a short block away from Farragut North Metro Station (take the L St. exit) and two blocks from Farragut West (take 18th St. exit).
Street parking might be difficult. But there are parking garages around.
