Hello folks, event #2 has arrived! This session will again be two talks and not the practical on Event Modeling, however we'll run that practical session in the near future. The feedback from the first event clustered around 2 themes:

  1. That it'd be helpful to do an introductory talk on DDD.
  2. Provide some examples of how it is applied to real problems.

With that in mind, for our first talk, Dan will be covering the basics of DDD including the terminology, tactical building blocks and social practices. The second talk will be from Andy Hoyle, CTO of Fifty3North, a consultancy who specialise in applying DDD with their clients. He will be speaking to us about how they are applying DDD and giving us some wisdom from the trenches.
