DESCRIPTION

Close out Oktoberfest with Applied Software at Community Beer Company. Enjoy free beer tastings during an educational presentation on BIM for Conceptual Design. Applied Software’s Senior Technical Specialist Rick Kremer will show you products that enable you to design energy efficient buildings with better collaboration across all teams, saving time and money in the long run. You'll also have a chance to meet and network with other architects, engineers and designers.

We've designed the program to be informative, yet laid back so you can come and go as you please. Check out the agenda below to make sure you don't miss the sections most applicable to you. Each section will last about 20 minutes.

6:15 pm Improve Collaboration Across Teams

Collaboration and communication across teams is a common problem design professionals face. Learn how BIM 360 Team and A360 Drive address these problems. Keep all of your files in the same place, engage in real-time review with your colleagues, and access your project information anywhere on any device.

7:00 pm Conceptual BIM with Revit

We've all experience the headaches involved with turning your sketches or early designs into Revit models. FormIt supports iteration with Revit, allowing you to connect concepts to BIM without the hassle. This intuitive tool allows you to sketch anywhere—in 3D—from any device. Additionally, FormIt give you the power to design energy efficient buildings with its Insight integration.

7:30 pm Design Cost-Effective, Energy Efficient Buildings

You don't have to compromise a building's aesthetics to comply with building regulations and required performance features. FenestraPro is an easy-to-use Revit add-in that gives you the ability to focus on efficiency during the early design stages, eliminating costly redesigns later in the process.

8:00 pm Ask the Expert

No, you won't have to save all of your questions for the end. We will allow time for questions following each section, but we wanted to offer a dedicated Ask the Expert section for those questions you didn't think of right away as well as those that may not have seemed applicable to the topic at hand.
