• Presentation Summary - As business needs evolve with the need for increased real-time processing, there is a growing need to consume, analyze and make sense of data at a faster rate. In order to better understand this new paradigm, the talk will focus on how to use one of the leading open source stream processing software, Apache Kafka, and will guide you through on setting up your own ‘consumer-producer’ pipeline. In addition, we’ll also go through various techniques on processing streaming data, specifically Twitter data, by performing natural language analysis and making sense of the data collected.
