Bring your Hal Leonard Real Books (vol 1 & 2) and come out to have a little fun! All instruments and skill levels welcomed. This is a no pressure jazz jam that will also have educational value. Check out some of the threads in the DISCUSSIONS link at the top of the page.

A few tunes will be listed in advance so you can have a chance to woodshed if you care to. We are not limited to those tunes. If you have a tune you want to play, list it on a comment for that meetup or call it during the jam. We'll also take tunes and play them in an alternate style such as a swing tune played as a samba. If you have arrangements of tunes, you're welcome to bring those, too.

No equipment is provided. You will need to bring your instruments, drum set, amplifiers, music stands, and whatever you need to play.

We may have multiple players of instruments like piano, bass, guitar, and drums. Coordinate with like players so that we only need to bring one keyboard, one bass amp, one drum set, etc. We can trade off on who brings equipment.

Please RSVP if you plan to be there. There will be a $7 fee collected at each meetup to cover the cost of maintaining this meetup page ($2) and the clubhouse fee ($5). Thanks!
