Configuring Jenkins without Forms! -- Jenkins Config as Code As the DevOps movement has gained steam, Jenkins' traditional HTML forms-based approach to configuration is starting to show its age. Many administrators want to store configuration as code, using tools like Puppet and Chef. The Jenkins Configuration as Code is a new plugin which allows Jenkins administrators to configure Jenkins using human readable YAML. In this talk, we will explore the Jenkins Configuration as Code approach and compare it with other popular approaches to configuring Jenkins. Ryan Campbell is a Support Manager for CloudBees. Previously he was a Jenkins engineer and engineering manager for CloudBees.
