Visit the Tiny House Village Exhibit at EDTx2017 organized by B.A. Norrgard featuring a village of DIY houses, and a village of commercial builders!
Note: EDTx is charging a one time fee of $5 per person to tour the DIY houses. The commercial model tours will be free. (That is $5 total for all the houses, NOT $5 per person, per house.)
If you sign up to volunteer (sign up coming soon, not open yet) you get to have a night of private tours without the crowds on Thursday night before the event opens to the public, and the $5 fee is waived.
In 2016 we had 10 houses and over 37,000 people visit. 2017 promises to be bigger & better in every way! Stay tuned for news on tiny house speakers, panel discussions, and/or classes & workshops!
This three-day event is held in April to celebrate progress, hope, and innovation and is the largest event in the world of its kind. Earth Day Texas brings together environmental organizations, businesses, academic institutions, government agencies, speakers, interactive programming, and subject matter experts. Attendees will also enjoy numerous outdoor experiences, including live music, sustainable beer and food pavilions, electric bike test tracks, and family activities.
Earth Day Texas creates a fun and engaging atmosphere for thought and experiential learning while encouraging attendees to be the change they wish to see in the world.
