5 years ago I knew nothing about fixing anything and now I can fix most broken things. Anything from electronics to cars to plumbing I can now find myself fixing and it has been a lot of fun and saved me a ton of money.
The one downside to tinkering is it's lonely, hardly anybody wants to hear about my hobby and even less people want to help out or participate. So my goal here is to provide mentorship for women and men who are wanting to know more about repairing and modifying things. Also, I hope to build a community of like-minded hobbyists, ones that are advanced and beginners so that beginners break less things in the learning process.
All are welcome but I do want this to be a safe space for people to learn so know that people will not be permitted to participate in events if they are not polite to beginners.
