Calling all Christian men from the DMV who want to engage with other men in their communities but are not quite sure how...
How can today’s men find others to hang out with and fellowship with regularly? Why is it hard for men to go outside of their comfort zone and befriend others?
As Christian men, we share in the same hardships and stresses of life but still can feel as if we are all alone. Have you ever thought,” Is this all there is? There must be more to life than this. There’s got to be!”. Truth is, there are a lot of men who have thought this, especially Christian men. Sometimes, Christian men just need the opportunity to build relationships with other Christian men. The goal of this group is to facilitate long term, low pressure fellowship through warm, non-threatening environments. We want to build relationships and achieve a sense of unity among men in the DMV.
This group is unique as the aim is to gather men from various Christian denominations who, despite different church backgrounds, can agree on the desire to grow personally and spiritually through fellowship outside their usual comfort zone and affiliations. After all, if there is one God, why is there over 20,000 denominations of Christianity today? Because there is one God, can’t we, as men in the DMV, grow to become one in heart regardless of what denomination we belong to?
