Do you or your child suffer from a nature- deficit disorder? We are a diverse volunteer-based community of families that enjoy adventures in nature with our children and with the common goal of enriching our busy lives with more “vitamin N”. Many of our outings are inspired by and led by kids, such as hiking, camping, skiing, swimming, paddling, climbing, and cleanups. All ages and levels of experience from novice to expert are welcome.
DMV KAN Group Policies: • A parent or guardian must attend the meetup with their children. • RSVP Policy. We know life gets messy and plans can change. If you sign-up for a meetup, please update your RVSP if plans have changed 24 hours before the gathering. If it is less than 24 hours, please send a message to the organizer notifying them of your absence. If you forget to communicate, you will be marked as a “no-show”. After three “no shows” in one year, you will be removed from the group. • Camping. For camping trips, level of camping experience needed is left to the discretion of the organizer. However, attendance to at least one other meetup before the trip is required and any other requirements as determined by the trip organizer. • Cleanliness.
