Ladies only unless accompanied by one of the Dirt Skirts

Instead of spending your day off sitting on the couch come get on your bike with us for a FUN ride on the Fort Worth Branch Trinity Trail!

I have never rode this trail but Brandy tells me part of the trail can be on pavement, the levee, and crushed limestone.

We are looking at doing a 30 mile route roundtrip starting at Clearfork Food Park, heading towards Gateway Park, then ending back at Clearfork Food Park where we can eat lunch. There is a chance the food trucks will not be there that day but there are plenty of places nearby that we can bike to for lunch.

Although this will be 30 miles, this is a FUN ride. No race, no rush, no drama, no stressing, but lots of hooping and hollering, laughing, singing if you feel like it, and definitely picture taking! :P We will stop as often as needed for short periods of time to catch our breaths if needed and get a drink.

Even though we won't be out in the middle of no where, be sure and bring plenty of hydration, snacks if needed, sunscreen, and items to fix flat if necessary. Also bring cash and/or card for lunch. Brandy says there is also cool brewery that we might work in.

If 30 miles might be too much for you, you could always shorten your ride and turn back at any time; although I would prefer someone is not by themselves.

So we will park at Trinity Park in Fort Worth, 2401 University Dr, right across from the Chuy's and by the 7th street bridge. Meet at the bike share station on the corner around 8:15 for a wheels down at 8:30. From there it is about 2 miles to the trailhead.

P.S. - Husbands, Boyfriends, and male friends are allowed on this special holiday ride with you as long as they are drama free, not screaming strava!, and up for a fun, non serious ride. :P
