Super Clinic III 18 Mountain Bike Clinics in one day

This Super Clinic is back on! I have found enough instructors and will have enough volunteers to make this a successful event. I still need volunteers to come out and help the instructors.

The Super Clinic III will be Saturday the 1st of October at 8:00am at River Legacy Park in Arlington (you should arrive at 7:45am to unload your bike and gear up). Registration will start at 8:00am. The first clinic will start at 8:30am.

Please print out and bring a a DORBA Liability Waiver with you. This Super Clinic is free of charge to all DORBA or FWMBA or WMBC members. You can join online by going to DORBA.org (http://dorba.org) or FWMBA.org (http://fwmba.org) or WMBCTX.org

----------------------------- CLINIC SCHEDULE --------------------------- there will be 3 groups of clinics:

5 clinics for beginner level riders age 13 and older:

*Beginner Clinic unlimited class size 8:30am , *Kids Beginner Clinic 9:30am (any age under 14) no class size limit, *Dips Clinic limited to 20 students 10:15, *Drops Clinic in Funtown limited to 15 students 11:45, *Rolling Over Obstacles clinic 1:30 no class size limit.

8 Clinics for intermediate level riders age 16 and older

*Steep Climbs and Descents (Twin Peaks) 8:45 Limited to 12 students, *EKG Loop Clinic (very difficult climbs, descents and dips) limited to 10 students 9:00, *Jumps Clinic (how to get some AIR!) limited to 15 students at 10:30am, *Riding with Flow Clinic limited to 12 students at 11:45, *EKG Loop Clinic #2(very difficult climbs, descents and dips) limited to 10 students at 12 Noon, *EKG Loop Clinic #3 (very difficult climbs, descents and dips) limited to 10 students at 1:15, *Advanced Braking Techniques Clinic limited to 12 students at 1:45, *Advanced Drops Clinic in Funtown 3:00 limited to 12 students.

5 clinics for anyone age 13 and over, with no class size limit

*Racing Clinic 9:15, *General Maintenance & Flat Fixing clinic 10:45, *Track Stand Clinic 12:00, *Rolling Over Logpile Clinic 1:15, *Intro to Single Speed clinic 2:45

Flat fixing clinic note: IF you have them, please bring, tire pump, spare tube, patch kit, and tire levers, so you can use them on your front tire, and follow along with the instructor.

Unlike the Beginner Clinic series, you will need to be a DORBA member or FWMBA member to attend. This is to keep the size of this clinic down, and to reward those who support these two excellent clubs.

Requirements: You must sign a DORBA Liability Waiver (http://files.meetup.com/3841722/NEW-WAIVER.pdf), bring a bike, a good attitude, and a bicycle helmet that you are willing to wear for the entire clinic. Please download the DORBA liability waiver, http://files.meetup.com/3841722/NEW-WAIVER.pdf fill it out, and bring it with you. We will only have a FEW copies on hand for people who don't have a printer. If you don't have a signed waiver, you will not be allowed to attend the clinic.

We DO require that you bring and use your helmet and strongly advise you to bring water. If you do not agree with our helmet requirement you will not be allowed to participate.

This clinic is dependent upon good weather and trail conditions. CHECK THIS POST THE MORNING OF THE CLINIC for any changes or cancelations. i.e. don't ask me "is this thing still going to happen". If I have to cancel because of weather, I will make the appropriate announcement on this thread.

You must be 15 years old to attend these skills clinics. Parent are responsible for the happiness, behavior, and safety of their teens every single minute of the clinic. All attendees under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian with them. You can not drop off your kid.
