The evolution of blockchain and other distributed ledger technologies (DLT) to serve the financial industry’s needs is proceeding rapidly. On Tuesday evening, October 9th, 2018 from 6:30 through 8:30 PM (ET) the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) is hosting a meetup at its Tampa business campus at 18301 Bermuda Green Drive in Tampa, FL 33647.
In this meetup, you will hear about the architecture of Hyperledger Fabric and Hyperledger Explorer directly from the contributors. These and other topics will be discussed during an informal discussion hosted by DTCC. Please join DTCC and our technology colleague from IBM to network with other like-minded technologists in the Tampa Bay area to learn more about the real-world applications of blockchain, DLT and Hyperledger Fabric.
Following a Welcome Reception including food and drinks, featured speakers will include:
• Robert Palatnick, DTCC Managing Director and Chief IT Architect, and a member of the Linux Foundation’s Hyperledger Technical Steering Committee.
• Chris Ferris, IBM Distinguished Engineer, CTO Open Technology, IBM Watson and Cloud Platform. Chris is responsible for all of IBM’s strategic open source initiatives and is a member of the Linux Foundation’s Hyperledger Technical Steering Committee.
• Pardha Vishnumolakala, DTCC Director of DLT Labs.
