People who are not aware of the location can follow me in your car please be at the meeting point by 4:40 A.M . at Enoc petrol station on Umm Suqeim road Al Barsha 1, next to Pan Emirates.

I WILL ONLY GO TO THE MEETING POINT IF PEOPLE CONFIRM ME VIA WHATSAPP OR TEXT otherwise i will leave directly.

Timings are as follows:

• Meet at Enoc Al Barsha 1 between 4:40 A.M (if anyone confirms)
• Meet at stables at 5:30A.M
• Riding time: 5: 45AM Sharp till -6:45 A.M
• Breakfast after the Ride
• Price: Weekends AED 150/- payable directly to the stables

How to find the stables:

• Take D63 - Umm Suqeim/Al Qudra road towards the desert which means drive straight no turns
• All the way straight until you reach a roundabout with 3 horses
• Take right and continue straight you will pass two roundabouts
• When you see Third roundabout turn right and follow the road after about 300 meters you will be on another roundabout which has only one exit follow the road and Al Jiyad stables sign should be on the left (their sign is a horse head with "Al Jiyad"). Stables should be on your right side

FAQ

Purpose of this group? This is a non-profit/non commercial group. The purpose of the group is to gather all riders from any stables and ride as a group, with this we can learn share experiences and help each other and enjoy the ride at its best , most of the hour we usually trot and canter but sometimes we also gallop a little . All booking of horses is done in a centralized manner a day in advance through our RSVP turn around list.

Can a beginner join? Yes! Don't forget to indicate this when you RSVP. We will book an easy horse for learning for you, and you will ride separately with a groom in a small group of beginners. If you want to learn, the groom will teach you. After the ride you are welcome to join us for breakfast. Once you are fit, you can join our group in the ride.

Do you teach? Even though we have advance riders, i.e. polo players, show jumpers, dressage riders , endurance riders who have been riding for many years, some professionally, but as mentioned before we are a non profit group and our purpose is not to teach you. However, we will be more than happy to share tips and stories and support you in any way we can. If your level is beginner, you will go in a separate group and will be taught by the stable grooms.

Can I ride at another time? Yes, feel free to book a horse directly with stables Rides are available in the morning and in the afternoon. We ride in the morning to avoid heat , THIS MAY CHANGE DUE TO RAMADAN

I don't have a car. No problem - indicate this when you RSVP, and we will try to do a carpool in advance, you can meet us at ENOC petrol station on Umm Suqeim road, Al Barsha 1 just next to Lulu Hypermarket & Pan Emirates.

I don't have an off-road car. You don't really need it - the road is fine for any car with just a few low speed bumps closer to stables.

What to wear? Boots and helmets are available at the stables. Helmets are mandatory. For hygiene purposes, you may bring a shawl/bandanna etc to put on your head under the helmet. You can ride in jeans and rubber shoes. If you don't have chaps, you can use long socks (till knee). If you are a beginner you will go for a walk and you do not need to wear any chaps or boots .

Stable facilities? Washrooms, showers, mosque, water & tea/coffee available. No lockers/changing rooms.
