• DUG: Pattern Lab, Bootstrap and choosing a testing framework

    Session 1: Drupal and Pattern Lab (Tim Mallezie) --- Pattern Lab helps you and your team build thoughtful, pattern-driven user interfaces using atomic design principles. During this session, you’ll learn the basics of atomic design, how Pattern Lab works and how to integrate with Drupal. Session 2: Bootstrap (Martijn Cuppens) --- Bootstrap is a free and open-source CSS framework directed at responsive, mobile-first front-end web development. It contains CSS- and JavaScript-based design templates for typography, forms, buttons, navigation and other interface components. In this session, Martijn, a member of the bootstrap core team, will guide you through the wonderful world of Bootstrap. Discover the new features Bootstrap has recently implemented and get a sneak preview of what will be added in the next version of Bootstrap. Session 3: Testing your (Drupal) website - helping you choose a testing framework (Lennard Swaneveld) --- So you’ve decided that you need to add automated testing to your project? Great! But what to choose? There are so many choices available it’s hard to know where to start. I will highlight some of the available options and more importantly some questions you should ask yourself when making a choice. This can help you get started on your quest to find the testing framework that suits you and your customers the best.
