Riding with Ruby - Learn to program in Ruby

Details
Learn to program in Ruby
This is a hands-on workshop to explore computer programming. No prior experience necessary. We'll provide you some Ruby code to read in spreadsheets and build web pages and graphs, then challenge you to adapt the programs to do something different. We'll go through the answers and solve the puzzles together. See http://www.ridingwithruby.com (http://www.ridingwithruby.com/) for a preview.
In order to be realistic yet interesting, all data and pictures come from last year's well-known pro cyclist race in Colorado.
Bring a notebook computer to work on. Mac, Windows, and Linux are all okay. Light food, snacks, and refreshments will be provided.
