Fwd: 19 New Puppy Mill Dogs are Ready to Rock Give to Lincoln Day Tomorrow

From: Cheri C.

Give to Lincoln Day is TOMORROW!
Got an email from HUA about something they participated in last year, and are part of again this year.  I thought I would share in case any of you are interested in donating to HUA tomorrow and doubling your donation.  (How often can you double your money guaranteed???)
The email also talks about their most recent puppy mill rescue.  Just reminding us why we should keep up the fight against puppy mills, against pet stores that support puppy mills, and against any breeders that keep their dogs in inhumane condition like these dogs had to endure for so many years.
These mill survivors sure are a "Motley Crew" but they sure "Take a piece of my heart."  Check out their music video at:  (CRY ALERT!  If you are one of my criers, don't watch it at work as it is guaranteed to bring a tear to your eyes!)

Tomorrow Is The Day!

The Lancaster County Rock Stars are settling in and they are getting ready to rock Give to Lincoln Day tomorrow, Thursday, May 16th.  They are all looking better, feeling better, and anxious to make their website debut for adoption soon.  They wanted us to drop you a reminder about Give to Lincoln Day tomorrow.  It is especially close to our hearts this year since HUA just rescued these 19 dear dogs from a hideous puppy mill just a few miles outside of Lincoln, Nebraska.  Stay tuned for tomorrow's email for a very special update from John at HUA.  He can't wait to tell you about his new Schnauzer friend, Janis Joplin, who was the most pitiful dog of the 19, and show you how wonderful she looks and feels...and that is not all, expect more exciting news on Janis soon!

Tomorrow is a very special day for HUA, and we hope you will forgive our many reminders, but we are doing it for the animals.  The more donations received on this match fund day, the more care and comfort we can give to dogs in need, like the Lancaster County Rock Stars.

The steps are easy!  In fact NEW THIS YEAR - You can set up your donation now to be made on May 16th by leaving the default over the green DONATE button set to "On A Giving Day".  Your donation will automatically be made on May 16th!

1)  Go to (or click this link)

2)  Donate using the box on the right side of the page

Our new rock stars send their thanks and love from the bottom of their hearts.  Your donations allow them to have a clean, dry place to sleep, food and water, blankets and beds, and most of all love - for the very first time in their lives.  In fact they insist that you are the rock stars for saving their lives and providing the veterinary care they so desperately need!  Love, Hugs and Kisses are coming your way today from KD Lang, Joan Jett, Bob Dylan, Sheryl Crow, Pat Benatar, Gene Simmons, Carly Simon, Warren Zevon, Aretha Franklin, Joni Mitchell, Lita Ford, Eric Clapton, Alison Krauss, Paula Abdul, Stevie Nicks, Bob Seger, Cyndi Lauper, Janis Joplin and Melissa Ethridge - the newest puppy mill dog arrivals at HUA.  Make sure to check out their video (we know

MTV will be calling to pick it up soon) on our Give to Lincoln Razoo page.
