Welcome!
We are a homeschool support group aimed at providing fun, friendship and enriching educational activities for homeschool families since 2011. We hope that the families in the group will form lasting friendships, and that it will be a place where the parents find support and camaraderie. Our activities are aimed at school-aged kids. This means tween-teens too. (Parents/Guardians must be at the events with their children. Tweens and Teens are not allowed to show any hint of romantic relationships at any of our events.)
Events will be centered in the North Dade and South Broward areas (Miami Lakes, Palm Springs North, Hialeah, Pembroke Pines, Miramar, & Davie), but we are willing to drive for special events/field trips.
We get together for local area events, take part in outside-structured homeschool activities like ongoing classes, co-ops, park days, and aim for at least one educational field trip a month. Members stay in touch on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/DBHomeschoo...
Help make this group what you want it to be! This can only work if we have volunteers! Our goal is to make the best of our families' homeschooling experience.
We respect all homeschooling styles and expect our parents to do the same. We can all learn from each other.
