Weekend Ride at the Mountain Top Ranch

One of my clients has graciously offered me the use of his ranch for the weekend of August 16th.

The Mountain Top Ranch is located on about 5000 acres in the Kiamichi Mountains of Oklahoma, approximately 2.5 to 3 hours NE of Dallas. There are dirt roads we can ride and we are free to mountain bike off-road as well. For other activities: there are a couple of 4-wheelers, several spring-fed ponds and one lake that he stocks with fish, and he has a couple of bass boats on the lake. The ranch house overlooks Sardis Lake and you can ride down the mountain to it on your bike if you want to do some noodling and have catfish for dinner ;) The ranch house sleeps 7 and you are free to camp if you'd like or just make a day trip. The first 6 who ask get to sleep in the house.

Helmets are required. Mountain Bikes only. Probably wouldn't hurt to have a GPS unit if you plan to off-road as it's easy to get lost when you leave the roads. Most vehicles should be able to make it up the mountain to the ranch house but the ranch is gated so if you're concerned about driving your car up the mountain you can park it at the bottom (behind gates) and I'll come down to get you.

The address listed is a new address given to the ranch for delivery purposes and I am not yet sure how it works with GPS. I will be sure everyone has written directions just in case.

Once we see who is coming we can figure out food and beverages.
