This month Edward is going to discuss World Cup Soccer analytics and predictions with R.

The World Cup is upon us, and with it, an opportunity to use regression analysis to predict outcomes of every match. Using multiple data sets and using R, Edward goes over a methodology for picking who wins, ties and loses. Soccer offers unique challenges and this lecture goes over the R code and assumptions used to try and forecast who will reign supreme.
