Overview by Karen on Machine Learning with R

Machine Learning is a field at the intersection of statistics and computer science that trains algorithms to recognize patterns in data for the purposes of data analysis and prediction. R has numerous packages for the most commonly-used machine learning algorithms such as regression, naive Bayes, kNN, decision trees, neural networks and more. In this Meet-Up, Karen will give a brief overview of using R for machine learning based on her book. In addition, Karen will provide the pdf of the book to interested R User Group attendees.
