In only 90 minutes you can become a confident bartender, creating delicious and gorgeous cocktails, to the delight of your guests (or yourself). Join our Master Mixologist, Carolyn, in her Manhattan home as she walks you through how to stock a basic bar and create craft cocktails with an ode to winter and the holiday season.
The mixology instructor will demonstrate each of the four cocktails on the menu: Chocolate Martini with a Peppermint Twist, Smoking Cinnamon Old Fashioned, Cranberry Ginger Gin Fizz, and Traditional Hot Buttered Rum. If you have partners joining the class with you, consider splitting the recipes and ingredients between yourselves, this way you have a chance to taste them all! You get to choose how ambitious you'd like this class to be. Class will also include a segment on stylish garnishes and decorative techniques.
Invite your friends and family to join you for class so you can connect for a virtual cheers! No prior experience is required! You'll have the opportunity to interact with Carolyn throughout the class and ask questions in a Q&A at the end.
You will receive an email with the equipment and ingredients list. However, we recommend having the following on hand: one stainless steel shaker, jigger (or Tablespoons), 1 Martini glasses, 3 Rocks glasses, cutting board, knife, and ice.
The full ingredients list consists of: vodka, chocolate liqueur, creme de menthe, bourbon, aged dark rum, gin, rich simple syrup, angostura bitters, lemon, cinnamon sticks, orange, cranberry juice, ginger ale or ginger beer, fresh cranberries, unsalted butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Soft pretzels are such a treat in fall, especially along with a cold refreshing beer in hand. Oktoberfest anyone?!
This class can also be a whole family affair. The kids are welcome to cook along with Chef Jason, from his Manhattan kitchen. He will teach you the secret to making soft homemade pretzels from scratch. Follow the process of making the dough, which you will do several times throughout class so you'll be an expert pretzel maker in no time! Learn the recipe for three different pretzel flavors: plain, cumin, and raisin. Each will be paired with it's own cheesy dipping sauce, which you will also make along with the chef.

Learn the secret to slicing, marinating, and searing the perfect Mongolian Beef.
In this fun and hands-on class, Join Chef Jen in her Chicago kitchen, as she guides you step-by-step in recreating this classic stir fry dish known for its beautifully tender beef and sweet and sour sauciness. You will learn basic knife skills, how to properly handle the meat and how to create a flavorful and healthy vegetable stir fry. Once you have created your masterpiece, you will then plate, garnish and devour your creations with your fellow foodies joining you for this delicious virtual cooking party!
No experience is required! Invite your friends and family to join you for class, so you can connect virtually and enjoy a fun experience cooking together. No experience is required! You'll have the opportunity to interact with Chef Jen throughout the class. You will receive an email with the equipment and ingredients list to know what type of beef cut to purchase and make your marinade & stir fry sauce. The main ingredients required to cook along with the chef include: tender cut of beef, bell pepper, yellow onion, garlic cloves, scallions, oil, soy sauce, oyster sauce, apple cider vinegar, baking soda, cornstarch, brown sugar, honey, and black pepper. You will have an opportunity to interact with Chef Jen and ask her questions throughout the session.

In this memorable, hands-on class, you will learn the art of French Choux pastry. Choux has the reputation for being difficult, but it’s surprisingly simple! Our Pastry Chef Instructor will take you through a detailed demonstration, before you will be guided step-by-step in replicating how to make the perfect choux dough, piping, baking and filling to create Eclairs and Cream Puffs! Master these easy recipes and you can make many pastries most bakers are scared to try! Before you know it you will have also learnt the basics to Gougères, Churros, French Cruller Donuts and Choux Beignets!
No experience is required! All equipment and ingredients will be provided. Our events are casual and meant to be fun, relaxing and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in and get settled, while wearing your mask. Please note that class will be hosted in Chef Amanda's apartment with ample space to social distance booking parties from one another. Chef Amanda is also maintaining a sanitized space, for your safety, as per CDC guidelines. You are invited to BYOB beer, wine, or champagne with you to class.
