Cartridge Jam 2 (and Whatever Jam) Kickoff!

THE FIRST PART OF THIS JAM STARTS NOW! We need art submissions BEFORE this even starts, so READ ON!

It's back! Inspired by the amazing "A Game By Its Cover" game jam, we are throwing another Cartridge Jam! This jam happens in two parts: first, we take submissions of fake game cartridge art for two weeks, then jammers pick a cartridge and make a game inspired by that cover!

We are also adding a "Whatever Jam" option. Not into the cartridge idea? Make your own jam. A game idea you've had around forever, an old jam you never finished, refactor your previous cartjam, whatever!

The schedule will go like this:

• From now to Aug 13th: create and submit fake game cartridge art (more info below)
• Aug 13th: we'll have a kickoff event to start making games! Pick a cart or carts and get started jamming.
• Aug 29th: the Aug Show & Play will be the END of the jam. We'll all get together and show off our games!
