Improv Comedy Primer for UX Professionals

Collaboration doesn't come naturally for us hard-working, career-driven humans, but the reality is that human-to-human interaction is key in our field. Improv training builds on facilitating trust, active listening, supportive ideation, and leadership from the bottom-up; all skills that ongoing team efforts demand from us.

This interactive course is a learn-by-doing showcase on improv's primary tenet "Yes, And", which takes us from "survival of the fittest" to "we're all in this together" as a primer for all collaborative efforts.

Bio:
Paco Giurfa is a UX Engineer from Peru residing in Dallas, TX. He specializes in systems thinking, accessibility and design systems methodology. He has also developed techniques to improve workplace collaboration through improv comedy learnings.
