Presenter: Monte Nichols, Senior Front End Developer at Precocity
Monte’s passion for Front End Development comes from a background in the arts combined with a deep love for mathematics and logic. Currently a Senior Front End Developer at Precocity in Addison, Monte works with a crew of top-notch designers and developers for various clients throughout the US. Originally an artsy kid with two Bachelor degrees in Interactive Design and Game Development and Computer Science, Monte now focuses on accelerating software development teams using best practices for the full software development life cycle. To achieve these goals he advocates agile methodologies, code reviews, git workflow, test driven development, automated testing, and continuous integration.
Monte grew up in the great, big state of Texas. When not working, Monte is playing way too much Dungeons and Dragons, reading anything he can get his hands on, riding his bike around town, and playing couch co-ops with his beautiful wife.
