Planning meeting for Danbury Hackerspace - Open to anyone

We're working on location for the hacker/maker space, logistics, suggestions, and to see what people want to do with the space. We'll talk about what a hackerspace is, where they are located, types of space, activities, and more.

The meeting is open to anyone interested in a working together to open a Hackerspace in Danbury.

Here are directions:

From I-84 East: Take Exit 5. After stop sign at end of ramp, continue straight down hill to stoplight.This is Main St. Turn right. Continue past Taco Bell on your right and through four stoplights. This is downtown Danbury. Proceed past Gusto's Restaurant and post office on your left, then a glass building called The Galleria. On your right, you'll see the Wells Fargo Bank at 210 Main. The Resource Center is just past the bank, in Ives Manor at 198 Main. Enter through the side door next to the driveway. Parking is free behind the bank, or you can meter-park on the street. Ives Manor is an apartment building, so in the entry you will need to dial 113 for DACS to get buzzed in. The Resource Center is in the basement.

From I-84 West: Exit 5. At end of ramp, take a right onto Main St. Proceed straight throught next stoplight, and continue past Taco Bell on your right and through the four stoplights as already mentioned from I-84 East. Continue to the Resouce Center at Ives Manor by following the directions above.
