Often when doing research in machine learning you need to visualize your data and results to gain insights. In addition, publications like https://distill.pub show us how much value well put together visualizations can add to the exposition of machine learning research. In this talk we will introduce the basics of a popular library for creating robust web-based data visualizations: D3.js. We will conclude by showing how we put this into practice by giving an overview of a visualization that uses D3.js and Tensorflow.js to visualize the predictions of a neural network in real-time while it is trained on the titanic dataset.

6:30 PM - Doors Open & Networking
7:00 PM - Introduction to D3.js
8:00 PM - Wrap Up and Discussions

We are looking for speakers. Please reach out if you would be willing to talk to the group about your research, passion, or whatever you find stimulating with respect to AI.
