Data for Good exists to facilitate resource sharing between some of Austin's most data driven organizations to solve important problems in our city.
We achieve this goal by involving corporations, startups, nonprofits, community volunteers, academic institutions and government entities and leveraging their collection of resources. More specifically, we work with leadership in the city's primary pillars of government, business, nonprofits and education to bridge collaboration between them.
Our goal is to drive a more collaborative, open, transparent and data-driven culture in Austin to more effectively solve issues that one entity by itself might not be able to do so.
If you would like to volunteer in addressing our city's issues, or simply join the conversation, please do so!
Data for Good ATX is a community-led initiative that brings data-informed solutions to local Austin issues.
If you are interested in how we can use data in a socially conscious, intentional way to solve some of Austin's most pressing issues, such as transportation, education equity, civic engagement, etc, please join us at our next Happy Hour, where we will be hosting conversations with local organizations and data experts about how we can pool resources and best practices to create a more transparent, equitable and accessible community.
