We bridge skilled volunteers with local community leaders to promote data-informed solutions for the people of Austin.
Data for Good exists to facilitate resource sharing between some of Austin's most data driven organizations to solve important problems in our city.
We achieve this goal by involving corporations, startups, nonprofits, community volunteers, academic institutions and government entities and leveraging their collection of resources. More specifically, we work with leadership in the city's primary pillars of government, business, nonprofits and education to bridge collaboration between them.
Our goal is to drive a more collaborative, open, transparent and data-driven culture in Austin to more effectively solve issues that one entity by itself might not be able to do so.
