DR. VERONICA RED (they/them) is a highly skilled data scientist with a Ph.D. in Biomathematics. After several years working with hospitals, universities, and companies as a data scientist, Dr. Veronica Red founded Marvelous Modeling (www.marvelousmodeling.com) in 2018 because they wanted to use their vast skillset to make a positive impact on our ever-changing world. As a nonbinary professional, Dr. Red advocates for increased gender diversity in the field by working directly with companies that seek to expand the diversity of their teams. Dr. Red founded the Gender Diversity Around the Axis (GDATA) meetup in 2016 to create a safer space for womxn, trans men, and nonbinaries in data science to network with one another, benefit from training and networking opportunities, and be recruited by companies committed to increased gender diversity. GDATA hosts recurring meetups in Washington, DC with data science speakers, networking events, mentoring opportunities, and workshops.

JEFF HALE (http://www.linkedin.com/pub/jeff-hale/7/787/99a/ and https://medium.com/@jeffhale) is a Lead Data Science Instructor at General Assembly. He's the author of the books Memorable Python, Memorable Pandas, Memorable SQL, and Memorable Docker. Jeff has been named a top writer in Technology and in Artificial Intelligence on Medium. He co-organizes Data Science DC, the largest DC-area data science meetup. Previously, Jeff led finance, operations, and technology for several ecommerce and professional firms. Prior to that he was Director of Housing Development for one of Arizona's largest affordable housing developers. Jeff has an MS in Management and an MBA. CRAIG PARISOT is the Chief Executive Officer of ATA, LLC (https://www.ata-llc.com/) headquartered in the heart of Tysons Corner, Virginia. ATA is a Design+Build partner providing full stack data science solutions to multiple industry sectors serving commercial and government clients. Through its emphasis on merit-based hiring and promotion, ATA has built a diverse culture of high performing scientists, engineers and analysts. Through the company’s unmanned systems practice area, ATA is a data science focused FAA-approved UAS Service Supplier licensing capabilities that perform planning, compliance and optimization functions. He is actively engaged in angel and growth stage technology investing. Among his local start-ups, he is partnered with The Wine Outlet, a regional neighborhood-driven wine and gourmet food chain. He currently is a member of the DC2 Board of Directors where he founded Data Week DC.

RAHUL SINGH is passionate about helping people build scalable business platforms. He leads, Anant (https://www.anant.us/), a boutique group of business platform experts that focus on integrating customer experiences with information systems using real-time data & analytic platforms based on Cassandra, Spark, and Kafka. Anant trains clients on a software vendor and cloud agnostic framework and a step by step approach to build & manage data platforms.
