We have a data economy. But it’s a shadow data economy. It’s opaque: Google and the like keep the data to themselves for competitive reasons (data siloes). And, power is concentrated, such as Zuckerberg with his fiefdom of 2 billion people. Finding AI training data is a never-ending problem in the AI/ML industry - how do we enable data to be unlocked for AI advancement? How do we give the ownership of data back to the owners, to each of us?
Not only that, a massive amount of computing resources on mining to building a federation of distributed computing resources that solves real-world AI problems. How do we create a global network that can save enormous amount of electrical powers while solving real-world AI problems?
To solve all these issues, blockchain technology could help - but how?
Join us this evening as we dive deep into understanding how blockchain projects like Ocean Protocol, AI network, Airbloc and Nervos Network have enabled the building of dApps, data sharing and AI training in a larger scale than it ever has been before.

Minhyun is the Co-founder of AI Network, graduated from KAIST and worked at Google with record of youngest full-time software engineer ever in Seoul. After 3 years of experience in Google, he spend 2 years outside of Google to learn more about how value is being transferred in our society, culture of startups, and social welfare in Soongsil University as a graduate student.
Then he joined Google again and contributed to Google search engine and machine learning projects, while at the same time contributed to ML developer communities. Now with a mission to create AI system to measure and distribute value at the speed of information via blockchain, Minhyun founded the company to develop AI Network that creates ecosystem for engineers, researchers & companies, and users where they can experience best-in-class technology to maximize each of their values.
He is a Airbloc Lead Blockchain Developer, (Former) Airbridge Backend / Mobile Developer, (Former) Software Maestro 5th, Held by Ministry of Science, ICT & Future Planning.
