One of the main stumbling blocks when using R for the advanced (and not so advanced) programmer can be speed when manipulating large data sets or running computationally demanding tasks. This workshop is a primer on best coding practices, statistical methods and parallelization paradigms to speed up R.

- The Cpp package
- Easy Parallelization
- (Time permitting) Compilation / Hacking R's internal structure / Scaling through an Amazon Web Server

- Laptop with R and RStudio installed
- Installed packages (coming soon)
