Machine learning researchers have been finding more and more ways to use unsupervised learning methods to explore unstructured content. One of the leading methods is topic modeling, which discovers themes/topics in a large collection of data.
This tutorial will be a live topic modeling coding demo going through each step of the data science pipeline from the perspective of a data scientist.

Daewoo Chong is a software engineer/data scientist at Booz Allen Hamilton. He is currently a lead search engineer on an enterprise search project and has been using topic modeling and deep learning to tune relevance and search data in novel ways. His interests include rapid prototyping, information retrieval, natural language processing, and machine learning.
