1. Improving Helpdesk Efficiency: Classifying Customer Support Tickets - Jan Trienes (University of Twente / Nedap)
Customer support is an essential part of every company to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. As a product scales, increasing amounts of inquiries have to be handled by support agents which is a time-consuming, repetitive and error-prone task. In this talk, we will look at how we can automatically assign a new customer inquiry to an existing answer template using natural language processing and multi-class classification techniques.
Jan Trienes is a computer science master's student at the University of Twente. As part of the data science track, he focuses on natural language processing and information retrieval. For his graduation project, Jan joined the data science team of Nedap Healthcare in Groenlo to build a tool for the automatic anonymization of free-form medical text.
