A Very Vaulty Christmas with Hans Hultgren & Remco Broekmans (English)

At the end of a very special year, we’ll look at the state of Data Vault and Ensemble Modeling with two very special guests.

Abstract:

Hans and Remco have decorated a Christmas tree and would like to show you all the different items in and around the tree. Each item is representing a Data Vault or Ensemble Modeling topic which will be revealed during the presentation. Of course the first decorations to be opened up will be the ones on the latest guidelines and standards as these were discussed at the latest Data Vault & Ensemble Enthusiasts (DVEE) Consortium meeting.

Speakers:

Hans Hultgren is president at Genesee Academy (https://www.geneseeacademy.com/) and a Principal at Top Of Minds AB. He is a Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and Big Data educator, author, speaker, and advisor. Currently working on Business Intelligence and Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW) with a focus on Ensemble Modeling and Data Vault. Published data modeling book “Modeling the Agile Data Warehouse with Data Vault”.

Remco Broekmans is Vice President of International Programs at Genesee Academy. He is working in Business Intelligence and Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW) with a focus on modeling and architecture including Ensemble and Data Vault modeling. Remco is based in the Netherlands and has 15 years of experience teaching business intelligence and data warehousing.
