This is a group of collaborative learners. You can chat with us on Discord: https://discord.gg/3apt8T8jXz. We meet at regular intervals (usually monthly) to study and discuss areas of interest in data science, technology and the sciences. We choose study resources and work together to study and master the material deeply in order to support ongoing learning and continuous professional development. All adults interested in data sciences, technology, and science topics are invited to participate.

Serious Data Science
·OnlineOnlineSerious Data Science is an ongoing data science and machine learning collaborative learning group. This is a group of dedicated learners interested in data science and machine learning. Our focus is on learning and building skills. We are working through Building a Reasoning Model from Scratch by Sebastian Raschka and will go through Appendix C: Qwen3 LLM Source Code and Chapter 4: Improve Reasoning with Inference-Time Scaling.

This is a group of dedicated learners interested in data science and machine learning. Our focus goes beyond learning and building skills to applying what we've learned constructively. We meet monthly for intensive discussions of learning materials chosen by the group. All participants have an opportunity to lead discussions / present material. The sessions include discussions and presentations of content and code, as well as troubleshooting and optimization sessions as our projects evolve.
