TALKS
Talk 1: Luuk van der Velden | Secure MLOps with MLflow Simplifying Integration Tests at NS
Luuk obtained his PhD in Neuroscience at the UvA, where he measured synchrony within biological neuronal networks in the midbrain. He switched to Python engineering working at a.o Ahold Delhaize. He combined his experiences setting up AI teams at de Volksbank and Nederlandse Spoorwegen building AI platforms, setting MLOps best practices and creating AI products for millions of customers. Currently, Luuk is an Azure Solution Architect at Ahold Delhaize.
Fun fact: Besides engineering Luuk is also a drummer in the progressive metal band Hologram Earth, who just finished mastering their sophomore album!
Talk 2: Shruti Agrawal | Enterprise Search Engine and Information Extraction from Text Documents
Shruti works currently as a consultant as a part of AI development teams at different clients and designing software solutions that customers would benefit from. During her 5 years of work as a data scientist, she has worked for about half of the time in information extraction from text content and the rest on quantitative machine learning problems.
