Data Science Engineering Project Dojo

Details

The Data Science Engineering Project Dojo goal is to gather data enthusiasts to come and work on Data Science projects, Data-Driven solutions or Kaggle competitions of your choice. All levels from complete novices to experienced data engineers/scientists are welcome at the meetup.

We will start on Saturday morning with two presentations: Jupyter Notebooks in a Web Application Server by Severino and Customer Segmentations – New Dimensions by Vasily. Then we will self-organise into groups based on the interests, development technologies, programming languages and we work on the projects.

Bio:
Severino Tessarin is a creative programmer with years of experience in several programming languages for applications related to information technology, science and engineering.

Vasily Ogievsky holds double master in Finance from DCU and Business Analytics from UCD. Vasily spent most of his career in banking working in Finance, Treasury and Risk departments of major Irish banks. He has interests in practical data science applications for banking, such as: customer segmentation, performance attribution, persistence tests, balance sheet optimisation and diversification.

Let Roman Golovnya know if you keen to present at the future meetups. You can contact him via meetup messages or email roman.golovnya@gmail.com.

We recommend to bring a fully charged laptop with programming environment installed and ready to use.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
