Deep Learning Workshop

Hi All,

We excited to invite you to a Deep Learning Workshop. On a Saturday morning, Ben will start reviewing machine learning algorithms with scikit-learn. Then, Ashima will introduce Deep Learning concepts with examples of supervised learning algorithms using keras models on IMDB dataset. Finally, Roman will present predicting from text datasets using tensorflow, keras, gensim, sklearn and previous text related Kaggle competition.

Agenda:

9:00 – 9:30 Installation, networking, brainstorming ideas for the next events.
9:30 - 10:15 Practical Machine Learning with scikit-learn by Ben
10:30 - 11:15 Introduction to Deep Learning with Keras by Ashima
11:30 - 12:15 Predicting from text datasets by Roman
12:15 - 13:00 Working on Kaggle competitions or sharing your experience

Prerequisites for the workshop:

• Basic knowledge of math and statistics;
• Familiarity with python programming;
• Basics of machine learning;
