What we're about

If you have an interest in data and putting it into action for social good please join us at Data for Good - Calgary.

Data For Good is a collective of volunteer do-gooders, who want to use their powers for good to help make our communities better through data. We help nonprofit and social organizations harness the power of their data through analytics and visualizations in order to leverage their impact in the community.

Data for Good in Calgary works with organizations in the nonprofit / social sector in a couple of ways;

Datathons are weekend events that involve a large number of volunteers focusing on analytics & visualizations with organizations that have a lot of data and are relatively advanced in their data practices

Data Corps is a program of smaller scale projects of variable length where a group of Data Ambassadors will work with organizations that need help with data fundamentals at any stage of the Data Lifecycle.
