# About the speaker - Currently working as a senior data scientist at Eclerx Services. Worked with text analytics and image processing. Mechanical engineer by education. Masters from IIT Bombay. Building the deep learning pipeline for real-time surgical analytics for a UK based Start-up. Was the keynote speaker at the Data visualisation summit, Mumbai, 2017 delivered a talk on D3Js. Spoke about using sentiment analysis for hedge fund trading at IIM, Bangalore 2018. Unnatural love for math, fan of open source.

# About the speaker - Manish is passionate about employing artificial intelligence in data analysis. In particular, creating machine learning models that are highly interpretable and at the same time have great predictive performance. He has recently been nominated for a Vice-Chancellor's Excellence Award for his contributions to the Center for eResearch at University of Auckland. During Winter Boot-camp 2017, he conducted workshops on deep learning for Auckland researchers. In 2016, he won 'Top Master of Professional Studies in Data Science' award from Department of Computer Science at University of Auckland.
