Title: AI Research in Deep Learning — Why is it important in Deep Learning
AI Research has expanded dramatically bringing various disciplines in Biology, Physics, Mathematics but also interrelated fields such as Biophysical, Biostatistics and Statistical Mechanics and lately the Connectomics movement that is helping us unravel so much more about how Neuroscience is expanding authoritatively into the “software engineering” world of Deep Learning. This is a welcome change as inter-disciplinary focused research was a grand vision of David Marr all the way back in the 80s which also inspired many budding researchers like Geoffrey Hinton and many others.
Tarry will then also share two of their recently published research, give a sneak peek into some more which they are currently cooking in their AI Labs and explore the future of Deep Learning with Capsules Networks and other emerging models.
Audience level:: All types levels welcome. Even high schoolers please!
About Tarry:
Tarry Singh is CEO, Founder and AI Neuroscience Researcher of an AI startup deepkapha.ai. deepkapha.ai focuses on the following three pillars:1) breakthrough AI research that intends to knit the world of neuroscience, models and frameworks around deep learning for the future, 2) build AI Solutions for corporate customers and trains engineering teams to holistically build AI departments with hands-on, market-relevant advanced AI projects and finally, 3) AI Philanthropy initiative “givebackAI" to train the world that cannot afford expensive education. We have already trained over 10.000 learners worldwide and expect to have trained* about 50.000 by mid 2019.

He speaks regularly at global AI leadership summits worldwide and conducts workshops on a regular basis with his TAs who are currently PhDs in various disciplines such as NLP, Computer Vision, Robotics and other Artificial Intelligence disciplines.
He also participates in co-supervising Deep Learning PhD projects related to above areas with world’s leading universities in Germany, US and China. Tarry is Adj. Professor/ Guest Lecturer to UTD Dallas, University of Chicago, Copenhagen University, Charité Berlin.
