Intro to Knime
Knime is a Open Source application in the analytics space that has revolutionized the way enterprises and research labs conduct advanced analytics using Big Data. It uses visual programming to reduce the complexity associated with building Business Intelligence and Machine Learning workflows. This talk will introduce you to Knime ecosystem. We will look at the Knime Client, advantages of using Knime, its features then get into some examples of building workflows, deploying to Knime Server and some workflow examples to elaborate on the automation and analytics features. If you are in the analytics space and have not heard of Knime and are curious to see how it fits in an Enterprise ecosystem or have heard of it but have not had the chance to use it this talk will help you get started.

Sid Ramesh started his career as Data Analyst in Karsun and is currently a Data Engineer at a Logistics company in Toronto. When off work he likes reading non-fiction books about Tech-Economy, listening to podcasts and making audiobooks.
