A Greener Future
A Greener Future (AGF) are a nationwide environmental event-organizer who gather volunteers to remove litter from Canada's cities, lakes, and parks.

What is a DataNight?
It's when we call upon Toronto's data science philanthropists to help registered charities and non-government agencies. We listen to their organizational mission surrounding data then look at the data together to help them realize the capabilities of what they've got, as well as how to continue collecting moving forward.
Is this a Datathon?
Same idea! But not quite. Data For Good has already begun building dashboards and maps with R, Python, & Tableau.
In a DataNight, we bring in the public to...
- Listen to the nonprofit's wants and needs.
- Show what has been built so far.
- Access the data to explore and brainstorm.
- Open the floor to suggest ideas that would be excellent to include further in the showcase.
It's about vision. And we are looking for individuals with that kind of impactful perspective, even if you have minimal data experience. AGF is an environmental not-for-profit so subject-matter experts would be fantastic!
NOTE: Signed NDAs are necessary. You will receive an NDA to sign when you purchase the EventBrite ticket.
