What we’re about
Narcissists (narcs) are persons who are completely self-focused and use other people to feed their egos and other needs while they devalue and marginalize the needs of others. Narcs lack empathy and prey on those with high empathy to gain a supply of the self-importance they need. Narcissism is a personality disorder on a spectrum from overt to covert to malignant narcs.
Narc abuse is a painful game of grooming someone through displays of affection and admiration, then subtle insults and digs, outwardly emotionally abusive behavior, and then once they have depleted their victims of self sustaining resources, they are discarded as if they never existed. Victims are typically left with destruction in every part of their lives. Victims of narc abuse experience unimaginable emotional pain, shock, and confusion about what actually happened to them and how to recover their lives.
The purpose of this group is to provide current and former victims of narc abuse a caring, and supportive environment to deepen their knowledge about narcissism, heal, and learn strategies for recognizing and preventing narcissists from entering their lives again.
